From Samples to Results
Drinking & Wastewater Quality
The WAI VELAP accredited microbiology laboratory performs on-site testing for total coliform and
E. coli. Prompt, professional results provided.
Bacteria Analysis Information:
Collection: Bacteria kits are free and available for pick-up at WAI during normal office hours. Please note: we do not mail sampling kits.
Dropoff: Samples may be dropped off Monday through Thursday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
Please note: The WAI laboratory does not accept samples on Friday.
Results: Within 24 hours if sample arrives on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday prior to 4:00 PM;
within 48 hours if sample arrives after 4pm. Results for samples arriving on Thursday will be available the following Monday before 12 pm.
New 18-Hour Results! Get your results the next morning from Monday through Thursday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Please note: The WAI Laboratory does not accept samples on Friday. If you bring in a sample on Thursday, you can get results Friday morning instead of waiting until Monday morning.
Cost: $50 (24-Hour Results), $75 (18-Hour Results)
Please note: A 3% credit card fee will be added to all credit card purchases.
Additional Water Quality Analysis:
WAI provides analysis for a wide range of water quality parameters including metals, nitrate, nitrite and pesticides.
Collection: Sample containers are free and available for pick-up at WAI during normal office hours. Collection containers are specific to the required testing - please call for additional
information.
